garlic.rs grew out of two passions that rarely meet in one place: a love of good food and the venues where it is eaten, and twenty years of building software that has to work when the rush is biggest.
Our story
We have been in IT for over 20 years. We have built everything — from simple tools used by one person to enterprise systems that handle millions of transactions a day, integrated with banks, government services and logistics. We learned that the best system is not the one with the most options, but the one nobody has to notice.
Then we brought that experience to where our hearts are: to taverns, bakeries, restaurants and fast-food counters. We sat with owners at the bar, stood in kitchens on Saturday nights and watched where time is lost, where mistakes are born and what gets copied from a notebook. garlic.rs is the answer to those evenings.
It is built in Serbia for local venues — with fiscalisation, fasting days in the calendar, support in Serbian and a team that answers at two in the morning. Everything on this site exists and works; nothing is “coming soon”.
The team still has to find time to sit down for a photo.
For now we are either in a kitchen or at a keyboard. Stay tuned.
